Danny Duckworth
Founder of Alliance BJJ Houston
In 2006, Danny Duckworth embarked on his martial arts odyssey with Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, attaining the Nikyu rank in 2013. Transitioning to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2009, he reached the esteemed Black Belt status in 2018 under the guidance of Raul Jimenez. Danny's distinctive teaching approach is a product of his diverse training background with seven instructors, emphasizing fundamental skills, connections, and fluid mobility. His classes prioritize a holistic understanding and passion for the art, fostering its ongoing growth and development through the teaching philosophy of Who, What, When, Where, and Why.

The Venues
Gracie Barra Lakeway Jiu-jitsu and Self Defense is Lakeway’s premier choice for martial arts instruction located right off of Lohman’s Crossing and 620. The facility is 4200 square feet with almost 2000 square feet of mat space to provide a spacious training environment for the students. They also have locker rooms AND showers for students who need to get to work immediately after a solid training session.
