Experience the perfect blend of adrenaline and relaxation at the "Chokes & Barrels" trip, returning this spring for a week of surfing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the stunning Playa de Somo, Spain. This BJJ-surf trip is for all levels. This camp is all about improving your skills in BJJ and surfing while being in a relaxed environment getting to know new people who share similar interests. Chokes&Barrels is also a community surrounding the BJJ and surf culture: Skate, MMA, music, graffiti, tattoo, etc. Join us from May 19th to May 26th for an unforgettable adventure in the beautiful north of Spain. You will enjoy daily 1.5-hour BJJ classes plus open mat sessions on a spacious wooden deck. Surfing is included as well. You don't surf? Even better, there will be daily surf lessons for the first baby steps. For intermediate and advanced surfers, this is a surf trip, the main break is 10 min away walking so hit the water whenever you wish. A comfortable stay is arranged for you at the Wolfhouse Somo, featuring shared rooms, kitchen, and amenities, a short walk from Somo's main surf break. It's a big house with large gardens with great views of the Cantabria mountains. Choose from three different plans, ranging from BJJ-only to full packages including BJJ, surf rental, and lessons. Playa de Somo is a little surf town with many things to do including a skatepark, pump track, bars, and restaurants. Whether you're here to catch waves, roll on the mats, or both, with Chokes&Barrel you can be sure you'll have a great fun holiday with a lot of sports and meeting a bunch of new interesting people

Coaches

This camp offers a unique opportunity for mutual training and learning. The head instructor, a brown belt from Rome's Aeterna team, will lead the sessions. Additionally, lessons and insights will be shared by a Black belt Instructor from Aeterna (Rome), purple belt instructor from Aeterna (Rome), and another from Dosys team (Ibiza). Advanced belt participants are encouraged to contribute their knowledge and expertise, making these sessions truly exceptional.
