Instructors

Wim Deputter

Full time BJJ coach and competitor at Brasa, Belgium

Wim Deputter, a native of Belgium, holds a 2nd Degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. With over two decades of experience in BJJ, grappling, and MMA, he has participated in more competitions than most individuals. His remarkable track record boasts of over 600 matches, and he is eager to impart his knowledge to his students, enabling them to enhance their skills.

Alexander Neufang

1st Degree Black Belt

Alexander Neufang embarked on his Jiu Jitsu journey in 2009 and has been wholeheartedly devoted to mastering the art ever since. His impressive collection of medals comprises approximately 150 honors, including over 100 gold medals and multiple European titles in both Gi and Nogi competitions. In addition, he was recognized with the "Submission of the Year" award in German Pro MMA and has faced the legendary Rodolfo Vieira in an MMA match at ACB in Brazil. Neufang currently serves as a full-time instructor for Gi/Nogi and MMA in Braunschweig, Germany.

Charles Harriott

1st Degree Black Belt

Building on his successes as the 2018 BJJ Globetrotter of the year, Charles Harriott has made teaching at BJJ camps something of his specialty. He has visited 94 gyms across 17 countries, coaching and rolling as he goes. Harriott is particularly adept at teaching complex techniques and concepts to beginners and his BJJ Fanatics instructional Leg Locks 101 is a prime example of this. He is a lifelong martial artist who has trained in TKD, American Kenpo, Judo, Kickboxing, in addition to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Beyond these ample qualifications, Charles is a genuinely nice guy.

Chris Paines

1st Degree Black Belt

At the young age of 13, Chris Paines commenced his martial arts training with Japanese Jujitsu. In 2009, he joined the renowned Fighting Fit Combat Sports gym in Stone, England, where he enrolled in Submission Wrestling and eventually became the instructor for Grappling classes. In March 2019, Paines earned his Black Belt from Priit Mihkelson. Being the head coach of Fighting Fit Grappling in the UK currently, he not only trains competitors but also competes himself in submission-only events both domestically and internationally.

Dennis Gabriel Schindler

1st Degree Black Belt in Luta Livre & BJJ Black Belt

Dennis Gabriel Schindler is renowned for his exceptional ability to simplify even the most intricate concepts through his methodological genius. His standout moment was when he trained in the blue basement in NY. However, his greatest accomplishment, in his opinion, was establishing his own academy, CORE Fighting System in Germany, and witnessing his students' growth and success surpass his own achievements. While he does not view himself as a competitor, he finds great joy in teaching, which is why it remains his primary focus.

Mateusz Szczeciński

1st Degree Black Belt

Mateusz Szczeciński, a first-degree Black Belt in BJJ, is widely regarded as one of the most formidable grapplers in Europe. He has an impressive track record, having competed at ADCC Worlds, secured second place at ADCC European trials, and served as a Polaris veteran. Szczeciński's domination on the mat is undeniable, as he frequently dispatches his opponents within the first minute, showcasing his intimidating skills.

Naqi Arshed

Black Belt in BJJ

Naqi Arshed shares the same lineage as Chris Paines and Priit, and his comprehension of MMA's impact on Jiu-Jitsu enables him to grapple with exceptional proficiency. He is a highly skilled grappler with an impressive offensive style that many would aspire to emulate. He possesses a unique ability to utilize MMA techniques to enhance his Jiu-Jitsu game, resulting in an exceptionally efficient and effective grappling style. Naqi has achieved medals in numerous competitions, including ADCC UK, Roll Models, BJJ247, Sub Zero, and Grapple Nation, among others.

Priit Mihkelson

Founder of the "Defensive Jiu Jitsu" System

Priit, a 3rd degree Black Belt with 30 years of experience in martial arts, specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, grappling, and MMA. As a coach at Estum Jiu-Jitsu in Tallinn, Estonia, Priit emphasizes fundamental postures and movements that are essential for all grapplers and MMA fighters. Renowned for his defensive expertise, Priit's innovative concepts have significantly influenced the sport.

He has achieved the prestigious rank of black belt under the guidance of renowned BJJ instructor Priit Mihkelson.
